Energy saving project for North Fulham NDC
Following on from two previous projects in the area, SE2 were commissioned to carry out energy efficiency and sustainable lifestyles work with residents on the West Kensington Estate and across the wider North Fulham NDC area. The West Kensington Energy Savers Project aimed to contribute to the NDC aims to improve sustainability in the local environment, to promote sustainable lifestyles and to improve access to training and work opportunities.

Identifying opportunities to bring together water and energy efficiency retrofit in housing
Nearly a quarter of household carbon emissions come from energy used to heat water. Combining domestic energy and water retrofitting activity offers the opportunity for greater energy savings, however policy in these two areas has traditionally been separate. SE2 were engaged by the Environment Agency and Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes to investigate the opportunities for combining water and energy retrofitting activity at both policy and programme level.

Adapting to climate change: a scoping study for the school sector
Department for Children’s Schools and Families (DSCF) engaged SE2 to carry out research into the potential impacts of climate change on schools and children’s services. Following an initial scoping study, SE2 were commissioned to carry out a further in depth study into two impacts: school buildings overheating and the impact of flooding on learning.
