In April 2009, the Energy Saving Trust launched a major new online resource designed to help local authorities to address National Indicator 186 - Reducing per capita carbon dioxide emissions in the local authority area.

SE2 were delighted to work with EST on the development of this guidance, researching local authorities' information needs, developing a content plan, and writing the full set of guidance.

SE2 was engaged by the Sustainable Development Commission to project manage the creation of a carbon reduction strategy for schools across England. Extensive stakeholder engagement and a comprehensive research review informed the production of a strategy which was delivered to the Department of Children, Schools and Families in Spring 2008.

The private rented sector presents significant opportunities - and significant challenges - in terms of energy efficiency. Working with the New Deal for Communities team in North Fulham, SE2 developed a series of communications activities to reach privately renting tenants and engage them with energy saving information, products and behaviour.
