We're Ecobuild-ing: Are you?
Next week is ecobuild - and apparently it's going to be the biggest one yet with nearly 60,000 design and contruction professionals expected to attend - including the whole of the SE2 team!
For the first time ever we've got speaking slots at the 3-day event and we're very excited about it! Both sessions are on Wednesday 21st March, and we'd love it if you popped by and said hello!
10.45-11.30: Back to the Classroom: Who should deliver low carbon schools?
This is part of the UK-GBC's Big Tent programme, taking place in the UK-GBC Village, North Hall, stand N545. Liz will be chairing this panel session to examine the extent to which curriculum, campus and community need to be brought together to deliver low carbon schools. How can this be achieved in the current economic climate and who is going to make sure it happens? Our panellists will be Chris Whitehead (Balfour Beatty), Jenni Wiggle (Global Action Plan) and Ed Horgan (Briar Associates).
1.15 - 2.00: Winning Green Deal business with the right marketing and advice
Liz takes her second star-turn of the day, this time sharing the platform with Linn Rafferty (JTec Energy Performance). This session takes place on the RICS stand (North Hall, stand N420) and imagines what life will be like come October 2012. It invites delegates to imagine that Green Deal finance is available and an accredited supply chain is ready to deliver and then ask why aren't customers knocking at your door?
Chloe is playing a role at ecobuild too, and will be part of the support team on the UK-GBC stand on the Tuesday morning.
Ecobuild's a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and new colleagues, so if you fancy a coffee give us a shout!
Ecobuild takes place from Tuesday 20th - Thursday 22nd March 2012 at ExCel, London. You can register for free at www.ecobuild.co.uk
