We would like to thank all our friends who were able to join us last week for our 5th annual seminar. It was a great evening, looking back over 20 years in the energy efficiency industry and discussing our predictions for the future.
SE2 helped us design & run a stakeholder round-table to discuss the challenges and research opportunities to accelerate the take up of green heat. The work they did, including a background review & facilitation of the round-table, was done quickly and to a high quality. SE2 are always reliable, helpful and professional. SE2 Ltd and the London Borough of Lewisham are carrying out a research project to look at the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of fuel poverty referral schemes. The research is funded by Eaga Charitable Trust.
Good news this week on the international stage! The US and China have agreed to ratify the Paris Agreement, committing to national carbon reduction targets. The two countries account for 38% of global carbon emissions, meaning that the level for full ratification of Paris (55 nations accounting for 55% of emissions) feels within reach.
